Hey, this is Meridith Elliot Powell. And have you ever thought about who’s on your sales team? Who’s really on your sales team? Well, the answer to that question is everybody who works in your company. See, in today’s marketplace, you no longer control the buying cycle. Your customer does. Think about this. They can buy anything they want to, anywhere they want to, from anybody they want to, whenever they want to. So rather than the product, you’re really selling the experience. And when you’re selling the experience, that means everybody who works for your company, whether they directly or indirectly interact with a customer, they’re impacting that customer experience. They’re determining every single member of your team, whether that customer is going to buy from you once or whether this is going to be a long term relationship, whether that customer is going  to buy from you or whether they are going to buy and then refer you. So the question on the table is what are you doing to train your entire team in sales? Team is the word that you want to focus on with sales this year, getting everybody involved in the sales game. If you do that, you’re going to turn all of this uncertainty into a major competitive advantage.
