Turn Uncertainty To Your Competitive Advantage: Get The Tools, The Resources, The Strategies

If the last two years have taught us nothing else, they have taught us that our lives, our businesses, our teams, our clients, things can change at a moment’s notice.  And the question you need to be asking yourself if are you ready – are you prepared? Because the one thing you know is more change is coming.

So right now, you have a choice to make. You can choose to do nothing. Choose to run your business the way you have always run it, and you can hope and pray that those changes won’t impact you when the next big shift comes. And you know what?

Maybe you will get lucky. Maybe for you, this supply chain will just clear up. Maybe for you, the challenges with talent won’t impact you. And maybe the rising interest rates and pending inflation will pass you by. You know what – maybe you will get lucky.

Or you could choose right now to open your mind to new ideas, new ways of thinking, new ideas of how to navigate change, and new ways to start to control change rather than allowing change to control you.

Now I hope you choose the latter, but at the end of the day, that is up to you. But if you are interested in learning what and, more importantly, how organizations and leaders have effectively turned uncertainty to competitive advantage, then read on.

First, it is important to understand where I came up with these strategies and, more importantly, why I know these strategies work. A few years ago, long before we ever heard about COVID, supply chain, or the GREAT resignation, I became obsessed with the word uncertainty. How we think about it, feel about it, react to it, and let me tell you, we do not like the word.

In fact, research says that you would rather I tell you all the bad things that will happen rather than tell you the truth – no one knows – good or bad – what the future holds. And I find that fascinating. As business owners and leaders, we worry so much about the uncertainty that it prevents us from reaching our full potential.

And that got me thinking. What if we flipped the script on that. How far could we take our organizations if we believed that uncertainty lead to opportunity? What could we accomplish if we believed that disruption lead to opportunity? How many customers could we help? How could we impact our industry if we had a plan for successfully navigating uncertainty?

That thinking put me on a mission to find organizations and leaders who had actually done that. Learned to use uncertainty strategically to succeed in tough times and consistently find opportunities.

Now there are not many, but I was able to uncover nine. Nine companies have been in business since the late 1700’s early 1900s and are still in business and thriving today. And I wanted to know why. Don’t you want to know why?  What were they doing that was so unique? What were they doing that allowed them to succeed when their competitors failed? And why were they able to use disruption to create breakthroughs?

From all the research I did and the interviews, I discovered my PROVEN 9-Step Formular for thriving in uncertainty. And lucky for you, I have made the strategies, the stories, tools, and resources available for you.
